Herpes Zoster virus is caused by the reactivation of a primary infection with varicella-zoster virus. Herpes zoster virus known as shingles occurs more in the elderly whereas varicella-zoster virus known as chickenpox occurs more in children but can also occur in adults.Signs and Symptoms
