Overview of Prevention Of Influenza

Annual vaccination is the ideal way of preventing influenza. However, there are many other ways that can also help to prevent the disease. First, avoid close contact with people who are infected with influenza. The virus can spread through direct contact or through inhalation of air droplets when people infected with the viral infection coughs and sneezes. Next, keep your hands clean by washing them with soap and water, or alcohol-based hand rub. Besides, stay away from overcrowded places, clean frequently touched surfaces and If you are sick, stay at home to prevent spreading the disease to other people. Also, cover up your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze.
