Almost all skin conditions includes inflammation and itch. They can range from minor to a more severe conditions. Inflammation occurs as a part of the body's immune response against harmful pathogens or substance. Itching is the irritable sensation on the skin in response to certain stimuli or allergens. Examples of skin conditions with inflammation and itching are contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, urticaria, hives, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, blisters, and cellulitis. These skin conditions can be acute or chronic. Skin conditions with inflammation and itching are mainly a sign of either allergy, autoimmune disorder or infections. Other signs and symptoms that are associated with the inflammation and itching are skin rashes, redness of the skin, warm skin, dry skin, peeling of the skin, burning sensation, pain, and pus discharge. Genetic factors, environmental factors, family history, underlying medical conditions, and stress are contributing factors for skin conditions with inflammation and itching. The treatment depends on the type and cause of the skin condition.
