The teething process can be painful for the babies as well as the parents. Generally, this will happen by about 6 months of age where the teeth will start to appear in sequence starting with the two bottom front teeth. The classical crankiness due to sore gum, starting to chew everything in front of them, drooling and low-grade fever indicating the baby starts to teeth. Some simple steps like rubbing the baby's gums, keeping the gum cool, allowing them to eat hard food and always dry the drool to prevent skin irritation and comfort them during this painful process. If the baby exhibits high-grade fever or diarrhoea, it could be pathological and you should bring your baby to a doctor as soon as possible.
