Uses of Beclometasone Topical

Beclomethasone topical is commonly used in the treatment of arthritis, cancer, eye disorders, nephrotic syndrome, oral lichen planus, rheumatic disorder, severe allergic reactions, and skin disorders.

How Beclometasone Topical Works

Beclomethasone Topical is a corticosteroid. It has an anti-inflammatory property where it works by reducing the number of mediator cells, eosinophils and fibroblast activity. It also has vasoconstrictor effects where it inhibits capillary dilation and permeability.

Side Effects of Beclometasone Topical

Nausea, Vomiting, Unpleasant taste, Nasal and throat dryness, Nasal and throat irritation, Sneezing, Epistaxis, Impaired wound healing

Alcohol Safe

It is probably safe to consume alcohol with Beclomethasone Topical. Taking Beclomethasone Topical with alcohol has no known interactions. However, please consult your doctor.

Pregnancy Not Safe

Beclomethasone Topical may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited well-controlled human studies. The benefits from the use of Beclomethasone Topical in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation Limited Data

Beclomethasone Topical is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that Beclometasone Topical does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving Generally Safe

Beclomethasone Topical usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Kidney Use With Care

Beclomethasone Topical should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Beclomethasone Topical may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
