Loteprednol Etabonate is a corticosteroid. It's structure that is highly lipid soluble allows the production of lipocortin protein that modulates the activity of prostaglandin and leukotrienes. This results in the inhibition of inflammatory response.

There is no information regarding Loteprednol Etabonate excretion in human breast milk. Thus, it is not recommended to use Loteprednol Etabonate whilst lactating.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Loteprednol Etabonate may cause transient loss of vision which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Loteprednol Etabonate has low systemic absorption. Therefore, no dose adjustment of Loteprednol Etabonate may be needed.
