Arimidex 1mg Tablet is used as a first line medication. Tablet It should be taken with or without food, and taken at the same time every day to get the maximum effect. It should be taken as your doctor's prescription. Tell your doctor before taking this medication that you are not through with menopause and are still having menstrual cycles or that you have liver or kidney disease. Also, your doctor may know about the other medications you are taking, as many of them may make this medicine less successful or may affect how it acts. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, tell the doctor. Your doctor will recommend to do certain blood screening for vitamin D or bone density .
Many side effects require minimal medical treatment and fades as the body adapts to the medication. Hot flushes, fatigue, rashes, articular pain, osteoporosis and weakness are the most frequent negative effects. If you are affected by these or appear to be severe, please let your doctor know.
If you miss a dose of Arimidex 1mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
