   Apart from the list of Avamys uses, there could be certain side-effects associated with the usage of the medication. Please refer to the list below:-

   1. Epistaxis
   2. Nasal ulceration
   3. Growth retardation if used extensively in children 
   4. Hypersensitivity reaction: anaphylaxis, angioedema, rash, urticaria
   5. Headache
   6. Sore throat
   7. Nasal discomfort: nasal burning, irritation, soreness
   8. Nasal dryness
   9. Pain in the nose (rhinalgia)
   10. Fungal infection in the nose (nasal discharge, fever, fatigue, headache)
   11. High blood sugar levels (increased frequency of urination, increased thirst, excessive eating, poor wound healing, unexplained weight loss)
   12. Too much corticosteroid (Weight gain, “moon face”, thinning of skin, easy bruising, muscle weakness)
   13. Vision changes

   
   

   While some these symptoms are more common, there are a few rare symptoms that could also occur. If you are feeling any other symptoms (whether it is mentioned in the above list or not), please consult with a doctor immediately. 2. Do not take this if you are allergic to the medicine or its composition. If you're unsure, check with us or your doctor.
3. Severe allergic reactions such as severe rash, severe itchiness and fever, swollen throat, face, eyelids or lips can happen. Stop taking this medication and speak to your doctor immediately if you experience these symptoms. This reaction may start soon after you first take the medicine, or it might start later.

   Alcohol Warning (Safe)
   

   There is no clear contraindication of the consumption of alcohol when taking Avamys 27.5mcg Nasal Spray Suspension 60 doses.

   
   Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
   

   Avamys 27.5mcg Nasal Spray Suspension 60 doses may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk due to very little systemic exposure.

   
   Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
   

   Due to different form of preparation and limited data, it is not known wether Avamys 27.5mcg Nasal Spray Suspension 60 doses is excreted into human breastmilk or not. Caution should be taken when using Avamys 27.5mcg Nasal Spray Suspension 60 doses.

   
   Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
   

   It is not advisable to drive when taking Avamys 27.5mcg Nasal Spray Suspension 60 doses Nasal due to its potential side effects such as headache and dizziness which can affect the ability to drive and concentrate.

   
   Kidney Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
   

   Avamys 27.5mcg Nasal Spray Suspension 60 doses is safe to be used in patients with renal impairment and no dose adjustment is needed.

   
   Liver Warning (Limited Data)
   

   Avamys 27.5mcg Nasal Spray Suspension 60 doses is metabolised extensively by the liver and dosage adjustment is advisable for patient with hepatic impairment.

5. Recommended dosage: Adult and children above 12 years: Use 2 sprays into each nostril ONCE daily, preferably in the morning. Children above 6 years: Use 1 sprays into each nostril ONCE daily, preferably in the morning.
