Introduction of Avetaprost (Lataprost) 0.005% Eye Drop 2.5ml
Lataprost 0.005% Eye Drop is appropriate for both adults and children, and it may be used either alone or in conjunction with other eye medications . Follow your doctor's recommendations and take this medication on a regular basis to receive the maximum benefit from this medication. If you stop taking it, the pressure in your eyes may rise, which may result in vision loss. If the seal of a bottle is broken before it is used for the first time, it should not be used. Wearing contact lenses? Remove them before injecting and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back on. The most frequent adverse effects are changes in the appearance of the eyelashes, discomfort in the eyes, and sensitivity to light. Blurred vision, dryness in the eyes, a gradual change in the colour of your eyes, and other uncommon side effects are all possible side effects of this medication. If you have any negative side effects, see your doctor. Your doctor may be able to advise you on methods to reduce or avoid certain adverse effects, or he or she may recommend an alternative therapy. If your eyesight becomes blurred or you experience other changes in your vision for a period of time, refrain from driving until your vision is clear. This is typically a short-term adverse effect of the medication. If you are pregnant or attempting to get pregnant, or if you are nursing, you should not use this medication.
How To Use Avetaprost (Lataprost) 0.005% Eye Drop 2.5ml
This medicine is for external use only. Always wash your hands before and after applying eye drops. Tilt your head back and look upwards. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it to avoid contamination. Pull down the lower eyelid to form a pouch. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Whilst keeping the affected eye closed, gently press your finger against the corner of the closed eye (the side where the eye meets the nose) and hold for 1 minute. Wipe off any extra liquid. Wait for 5 minutes before administering another drop into that eye (of the same or different medication) to prevent drops from being washed out of the eye. Ensure to replace and tighten the cap straight after use or discard away any medication for single-use containers.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Thickening and lengthening of the eyelashes, Eye irritation, Eyelid swelling, Blurred vision, Headache, Dizziness, Eye pain
