The Norit 200mg (Activated Charcoal) Capsule is made of activated charcoal which is able to adsorb harmful or undesirable substances in the gut, especially in cases of acute diarrhoea.
How To Store Norit 200mg (Activated Charcoal) Capsule 15s (strip)
Store between 15˚C to 30˚C, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
Side Effects
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
If diarrhoea persist after three days of treatment, please consult a doctor for further advice and management.
Drug/Food Interactions
Consult your physician prior to use if you are on any medication or have any preexisting medical condition. Not recommended for use with Methionine and other oral antidotes. This product disrupts absoprtion of medications and antibiotics. It also decreases the actions of ipecacuanha and other medications used for nausea and vomiting.
Warning Precautions
- Keep out of reach of children. - Treatment of diarrhoea in children under 6 years old should be under medical supervision. - Not to be used in suspected or confirmed gastrointestinal obstruction.
