This medication is completely safe to use when pregnant or nursing a child. Furthermore, individuals with liver disorders may benefit from its usage without risk. It is not recommended to drink alcohol after taking this medication due to the possibility of severe sleepiness thereafter.
How To Use Tremfya 100mg/ml Pre-filled Syringe 1ml x 1
This medication is to be administered subcutaneously, or fatty layer under your skin. Injection site is usually on your thigh or at your buttocks. Remember to always use this medication and adjust your dose exactly as your doctor has told you.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Common side effects:
respiratory tract infections
infections of the nose, sinuses or throat (common cold), chest infection
headache
joint pain (arthralgia)
diarrhoea
redness, irritation or pain at the injection site
increased level of liver enzymes in the blood
Uncommon side effects:
allergic reaction
skin rash
decreased number of a type of white blood cell called neutrophils
herpes simplex infections
fungal infection of the skin, for instance between the toes (e.g., athlete’s foot)
stomach flu (gastroenteritis)
hives
Headache, Joint pain (arthralgia), Diarrhoea, Redness, irritation or pain at the injection site, Increased level of liver enzymes in the blood

Alcohol Warning (Limited Data)
There is limited data if alcohol changes the effect of Tremfya 100mg/ml Pre-filled Syringe 1ml x 1.
Pregnancy Warning (Limited Data)
The use of Tremfya 100mg/ml Pre-filled Syringe 1ml x 1 in pregnant women has not been studied. The effect of Tremfya 100mg/ml Pre-filled Syringe 1ml x 1 on human pregnancy is unknown.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
It is unknown whether Tremfya 100mg/ml Pre-filled Syringe 1ml x 1 is excreted in human milk. You should discuss with your doctor whether to discontinue, or abstain from initiating treatment with Tremfya 100mg/ml Pre-filled Syringe 1ml x 1.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Tremfya 100mg/ml Pre-filled Syringe 1ml x 1 has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

Quick Tips
Before adminstering the Tremfya injection, leave the pre-filled injection syringe in its original carton and let it sit on a flat surface at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
After starting Tremfya, contact your doctor immediately if you experience infection that does not go away or keep coming back.
If you are a woman of childbearing potential, you are advised to use adequate contraception while using Tremfya and for at least 12 weeks after the last Tremfya. Discuss with your doctor on the contraception options suitable for you.
You should not be given certain types of vaccines (live vaccines) while using Tremfya. Check with your doctor if you are unsure.
What If You Forget To Take
If you forget to take your Tremfya dose, inject a dose as soon as you remember. Then, take you next dose at your regular scheduled time. If you are not sure what to do, contact your doctor.
