Introduction of Duotrav Eye Drop 2.5ml

How To Use Duotrav Eye Drop 2.5ml

This medicine is for external use only. Always wash your hands before and after applying eye drops. Tilt your head back and look upwards. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it to avoid contamination. Pull down the lower eyelid to form a pouch. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Whilst keeping the affected eye closed, gently press your finger against the corner of the closed eye (the side where the eye meets the nose) and hold for 1 minute. Wipe off any extra liquid. Wait for 5 minutes before administering another drop into that eye (of the same or different medication) to prevent drops from being washed out of the eye. Ensure to replace and tighten the cap straight after use or discard away any medication for single-use containers.

Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)

Studies of Duotrav Eye Drop 2.5ml in pregnant women are not adequate but there are incidence of intra-uterine growth retardation of foetus if taken orally. Hence, usage of Duotrav Eye Drop 2.5ml should be restricted during pregnancy unless it is clearly necessary. Please do consult a doctor. Human studies have shown reproductive toxicities on the foetus and newborn child. Thus, Duotrav Eye Drop 2.5ml is not advisable to be used during pregnancy unless necessary. Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)

Duotrav Eye Drop 2.5ml is excreted in breast milk.
