How Chlorhexidine Gluconate Works

Chlorhexidine Gluconate is a disinfectant against gram-positive and gram-negative organisms, facultative anaerobes, aerobes, and yeast. Its antibacterial action is due to the binding of the cationic molecules to bacterial cell walls and disrupts the integrity.

Side Effects of Chlorhexidine Gluconate

Toothache, Upper respiratory tract infection, Sinusitis, Hypersensitivity reaction.
