Uses of Lidocaine

Lidocaine/Lignocaine+Polymyxin B+Acetic Acid is used to treat ear infection. It helps relieve discomfort, itching, irritation and pain in the ear.

How Lidocaine Works

It has both antibacterial and antifungal activity which reduces inflammation and swelling.

It is generally safe to consume alcohol with Lidocaine/Lignocaine+Polymyxin B+Acetic Acid. Taking Lidocaine/Lignocaine+Polymyxin B+Acetic Acid with alcohol has no known interactions.

Pregnancy Limited Data

There are no or limited amount of data from the use of Lidocaine/Lignocaine+Polymyxin B+Acetic Acid during pregnancy. As with all medicines care should be taken when using this product in pregnancy and seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist before starting.

Lactation Limited Data

There are no or limited amount of data from the use of Lidocaine/Lignocaine+Polymyxin B+Acetic Acid during lactation. As with all medicines care should be taken when using this product in pregnancy and seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist before starting.

Driving Generally Safe

Kidney Safe If Prescribed

Lidocaine/Lignocaine+Polymyxin B+Acetic Acid is generally safe to be used in patients with kidney disease. There's minimal systemic absorption of Lidocaine/Lignocaine+Polymyxin B+Acetic Acid.

Liver Safe If Prescribed

Lidocaine/Lignocaine+Polymyxin B+Acetic Acid is safe to be used in patients with liver disease. There's minimal systemic absorption of Lidocaine/Lignocaine+Polymyxin B+Acetic Acid.
