Prednisolone opthalmic eye drops are used to treat inflamed eye or injury in the cornea.
Prednisolone Opthalmic s a corticosteroid which works by reducing redness, swelling thus reducing inflammation in the eye.

It is safe to consume alcohol with Prednisolone Opthalmic as there is no drug interaction between them
The safety of Prednisolone Opthalmic in human pregnancy is not established. Therefore, Dexamethasone Eye should only be used for pregnant women after careful risk/benefit assessment by the doctor.
It is not known whether Prednisolone Opthalmic is excreted into the human breastmilk. It is not advisable to apply topical Dexamethasone Eye on the chest to avoid accidental contact with the infant.
Do not drive if this Prednisolone Ophthalmic affects your vision after application.
Dosage adjustment is not required as at low concentration, it does not produce any systemic effects.
There is no dose adjustment needed in liver disease as it is a topical medication with low systemic effect.
