Glyxambi 10mg/5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food at any time of day, but you should consider taking it at the same time every day. Your doctor will decide on the dosage. Don't stop taking it without consulting your doctor about it. This medication is just part of a treatment programme that should include a balanced diet, regular exercise and weight loss, as prescribed by your doctor.
Before taking this medication , tell your doctor whether you have any kidney or liver issues, or if you have a urinary tract infection, or if you have on water tablets (diuretics) (diuretics). Pregnant or breast-feeding women should also consult their doctor before taking it. Avoid excessive consumption of alcohol when taking it, as this may raise the risk of having any side effects. Monitor blood sugar levels periodically when taking this medication.
Take this drug at the dosage and frequency prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it down as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it down. Glyxambi 10mg/5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but it is safer to take it at a fixed time.
The most common side effects of this drug include urinary tract infection, nasal congestion, sore throat, and upper respiratory tract infections. Drinking plenty of water when using it helps prevent dehydration. Some people in the genital region can develop fungal infections. Maintaining good hygiene will help prevent this from occurring.
