Alcohol Warning(Not Advisable)
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Kop 2.5% Gel 20g. Taking Kop 2.5% Gel 20g with alcohol may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.
Pregnancy Warning(Not Safe)
Kop 2.5% Gel 20g may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. It should be avoided in the first and second trimester of pregnancy and is contraindicated especially during the 3rd trimester or near delivery. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited human reproductive studies. The benefits from the use of Kop 2.5% Gel 20g in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning(Not Advisable)
Kop 2.5% Gel 20g is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Some amounts of oral Kop 2.5% Gel 20g are excreted in breast milk whereas the topical Kop 2.5% Gel 20g is absorbed into the skin, hence it should not be used during breastfeeding.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Kop 2.5% Gel 20g may cause side effects such as sleepiness, dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness or visual disturbances, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning(High Risk)
Oral and rectal administration of Kop 2.5% Gel 20g is contraindicated in patients with severe kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning(Use With Care)
Oral and rectal administration of Kop 2.5% Gel 20g is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment. Please consult your doctor.
Recommended dosage: Apply a thin layer of gel to the skin of the affected area 1 to 3 times daily
