Dry Eyes

Overview

Dry eye is a condition where the eyes are unable to produce adequate tears as a lubricant for the eyes. This can cause a degree of discomfort to the patient and leads to disturbance of vision and eye infection.

Signs and Symptoms

A stinging/ burning or scratchy sensation in your eyes, Stringy mucus in or around your eyes, Sensitivity to light, Eye redness, A sensation of having something in your eyes, Difficulty wearing contact lenses, Difficulty with nighttime driving, Blurred vision or eye fatigue
