Overview
Cold sores are more commonly known as fever blisters which is due to viral infection. These blisters are tiny, usually scattered on and around your lips, some may clump together and form patches. After these blisters break, crusting will take place and result in sores. The most common virus that causes this is the Herpes Simplex Virus and they can be contagious via close contact such as kissing.Signs and Symptoms
