Introduction of Eliquis 2.5mg Tablet 30s

Eliquis 2.5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, and it is best to take it at the same time every day. You will need to take this medication for a period of time, perhaps for life in some cases. 

Do not quit taking or adjust the dosage without the advice of your doctor. You can reduce the chances of developing a blood clot by improving your lifestyle, such as not smoking, maintaining a balanced diet, getting enough exercise, and losing weight if you need to.

Do not take this medication if you are bleeding or if you are taking other medication to prevent blood clotting. You should not breastfeed when taking this medicine. 

Take this medicine at the dosage and frequency prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it down as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it down.

Side Effects

As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

The most common side effect of Eliquis 2.5mg Tablet is bleeding more easily than normal, such as nasal bleeding or bruising. Tell your doctor immediately if you have any symptoms. Other side effects include low blood pressure, nausea and rash.

Warning Precautions

Alcohol Warning (Safe)

Eliquis 2.5mg Tablet 30s is safe to be consumed with alcohol as no clinical reports or data to suggest harmful interaction or effects on the user.

Pregnancy Warning (Maybe Safe)

Animal studies do not indicate any harmful effect on fetal development and limited studies on human showed any adverse effect. Due to its potential effect of bleeding, use of Eliquis 2.5mg Tablet 30s in pregnancy is only indicated with specialist advice only.

Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)

Some animal studies showed traces of Eliquis 2.5mg Tablet 30s in breastmilk but limited data is available for human data during the lactation period. Until it is fully safe to be used during lactating period, Eliquis 2.5mg Tablet 30s is best avoided for lactating mother and replaced with other anti-coagulant.

Driving Warning (Generally Safe)

Eliquis 2.5mg Tablet 30s has no known adverse effect that may affect the ability to drive or concentrate.

Kidney Warning (High Risk)

Dose adjustment is needed for patient with renal impairment and cautious measure should be taken for severe renal impairment patient.

Liver Warning (High Risk)

Eliquis 2.5mg Tablet 30s should be used with caution in people with mild to moderate hepatic impairment and is contraindicated in severely impaired hepatic function.

Quick Tips

  • Take Eliquis 2.5mg Tablet at the same time every day to get the best results. It's easier to take food at night. 
  • It's less interactive with food or other medications. As a result, regular dosage changes are not necessary. 
  • This drug raises the chance of bleeding. Be cautious when shaving, clipping fingernails or toenails, using sharp objects or participating in contact sports (e.g. football, wrestling). (e.g. football, wrestling).
  • Tell your doctor if you see blood in your vomit, urine or faeces (black, tarry stools or bright red blood). 
  • If you are getting surgery or dental care, you might be advised to avoid taking Eliquis 2.5mg Tablet temporarily. 
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, expect to become pregnant or breast-feeding. 
  • Do not stop taking medications without talking to your doctor.
