Bromhexine+Salbutamol Related Warnings

Alcohol Not Advisable

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Bromhexine+Salbutamol. Taking Bromhexine+Salbutamol with alcohol may worsen the side effects such as headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and palpitations.

Pregnancy Not Safe

Bromhexine+Salbutamol may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse reactions on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable even with the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation Limited Data

Bromhexine+Salbutamol is excreted in breast milk but it is not known to show any harmful effect on breastfed babies. However, its usage should be restricted unless the benefits outweigh the risks.

Driving Generally Safe

Bromhexine+Salbutamol should not affect alertness or driving ability.

Kidney Use With Care

Bromhexine+Salbutamol should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease as it may cause hypokalaemia. Dose adjustment of Bromhexine+Salbutamol may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver Limited Data

Bromhexine+Salbutamol should be safe to use in patients with liver disease. It is rare for most of the antiasthmatic agents to cause hepatotoxicity. No dose adjustment of Bromhexine+Salbutamol may be needed.
