Ceritinib Related Warnings

Alcohol Safe

There is no contraindication on the consumption of alcohol with Ceritinib suggested by any previous clinical data. However, the side effects of alcohol may worsen the adverse reaction of Ceritinib and caution should be taken by the user.

Pregnancy Not Safe

Animal reproductive studies have been shown potential harm to the development of the fetus. Due to its potential harm to human pregnancy, it is not advisable to be used during pregnancy and effective contraception should be considered in women of child-bearing potential.

Lactation Limited Data

It is not known whether Ceritinib will be excreted into human breastmilk or not and it is advisable not to breastfeed the infant during treatment period due to its potential adverse effects.

Driving Not advisable

It is not advisable to drive or operate machinery when taking Ceritini due to its potential side effects such as dizziness and eye disorders which can affect concentration and ability to drive.

Kidney Use With Care

Ceritinib is eliminated via feces hence its effects on the kidney is negligible. No dose adjustment is needed on mild to moderate renal impairment patient but careful monitoring is advisable for severe renal impairment patients.

Liver Limited Data

Dosage adjustment is advisable for severe hepatic impairment patients due to its potential serious side effects.
