Alcohol Safe

There is no known interaction of Dapagliflozin with alcohol.

Pregnancy Not Safe

Dapagliflozin may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal reproduction studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited well-controlled human studies. The benefits from the use of Dapagliflozin in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation Not Advisable

Dapagliflozin is contraindicated during lactation. Animal studies have shown excretion of Dapagliflozin in milk.

Driving Generally Safe

Dapagliflozin usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Kidney High Risk

Dapagliflozin is contraindicated in patients with moderate to severe renal impairment and patients on dialysis. This is because the glycemic efficacy of the drug depends on renal function. Dose adjustment of Dapagliflozin and monitoring of renal function is necessary. Please consult your doctor.
