Fesoterodine fumarate is commonly used in the treatment of overactive bladder (oab) symptoms.
Fesoterodine fumarate is an antimuscarinic agent. It inhibits excessive contraction of bladder muscles by acting on muscarinic receptor as an antagonist.

Fesoterodine fumarate may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown embryotoxicity, however, there are no adequate human studies showing any adverse effects on the fetus. It can be used in pregnant women if the benefits outweigh the risks.
There is no information regarding the excretion of Fesoterodine fumarate in human milk. Therefore, it is not advisable to take Fesoterodine fumarate during lactation.
Fesoterodine fumarate may cause side effects such as dizziness which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
