Guselkumab treat adults with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis who may benefit from taking injections or pills (systemic therapy) or phototherapy (treatment using ultraviolet or uv light).
Guselkumab is a type of monoclonal antibody. It works by neutralizing the activity of a protein called IL-23, which is present at increased levels in people with psoriasis.

There is limited data if alcohol changes the effect of Guselkumab.
The use of Guselkumab in pregnant women has not been studied. The effect of Guselkumab on human pregnancy is unknown.
It is unknown whether Guselkumab is excreted in human milk. You should discuss with your doctor whether to discontinue, or abstain from initiating treatment with Guselkumab.
