Ibandronic Acid Related Warnings

Alcohol Safe

It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with ibandronic acid due to no data available.

Pregnancy Not Safe

Ibandronic Acid may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are no controlled human studies. The use in pregnant women may be acceptable if potential benefit justifies the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation Limited Data

Ibandronic Acid is probably not safe to use during lactation. Limited human data hence does not suggest the use unless the benefit justifies the risk.

Driving Generally Safe

(Do not drive unless you are feeling well). Ibandronic does not cause side effects that may affect your ability to concentrate and drive.

Kidney Use With Care

Ibandronic acid should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ibandronic acid may be needed. Please consult your doctor as some indication is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver Limited Data

Ibandronic acid is safe in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ibandronic acid may not be needed. Please consult your doctor.
