Alcohol Safe

As Ketoconazole+Zinc Pyrithione is used topically, the risk of interacting with alcohol consumed is negligible.

Pregnancy Limited Data

The safety of Ketoconazole+Zinc Pyrithione in human pregnancy is not established. Therefore, Ketoconazole+Zinc Pyrithione should only be used for pregnant women after careful risk/benefit assessment by the doctor.

Lactation Limited Data

It is not known whether Ketoconazole+Zinc Pyrithione is excreted into the human breastmilk. It is not advisable to apply topical Ketoconazole+Zinc Pyrithione on the chest to avoid accidental contact with the infant.

Driving Generally Safe

Ketoconazole+Zinc Pyrithione is for external application. Therefore, it does not interfere with the ability to drive.

Kidney Safe If Prescribed

Ketoconazole+Zinc Pyrithione is not used for internal consumption and the amount absorbed into the circulatory system also is negligible. It is, therefore, safe to be used even in a patient with renal impairment.

Liver Safe If Prescribed

Ketoconazole+Zinc Pyrithione is not used for internal consumption and the amount absorbed into the circulatory system also is negligible to cause any effect , therefore, safe to be used even in a patient with liver impairment.
