How Mebeverine Works

Mebeverine is an antispasmodic agent for the GI smooth muscle. It works to decrease in ion channel permeability and block norepinephrine reuptake. It has anaesthetic effect and weak anti-muscarinergic and phosphodiesterase inhibitory effect.

Side Effects of Mebeverine

Dizziness, Headache, Constipation, Insomnia, Loss of appetite, Decreased heart rate, Hypersensitivity reaction
