Alcohol Safe

There is no known interaction of Mometasone Nasal with alcohol.

Pregnancy Not Safe

Mometasone Nasal may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk due to very little systemic exposure.

Lactation Limited Data

It is not known wether Mometasone Nasal is excreted into human breastmilk or not. Caution should be taken when using Mometasone Nasal.

Driving Generally Safe

Mometasone Nasal should not affect alertness or driving ability.

Kidney Safe If Prescribed

Mometasone Nasal is not used for internal consumption and the amount absorbed into the circulatory system also is negligible. It is, therefore, safe to be used even in a patient with renal impairment.
