Paliperidone is commonly used to treat schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder in the adolescent and adults.
Paliperidone is an atypical antipsychotic which inhibits dopamine D2, serotonin (5-HT2A), adrenergic (alpha�1 and alpha�2), and histamine (H1) receptors .
