Sorafenib is commonly used to treat kidney cancer.
Sorafenib is specifically for advanced renal cell carcinoma which is able to reduce the blood flow to the tumour.

Animal studies have shown reproductive toxicities but there are no data on the use of Sorafenib in pregnant women. Thus, it is not advisable to use Sorafenib during pregnancy unless clearly indicated. Please consult your doctor.
Excretion of Sorafenib has been found in animal milk but it is unknown in human milk. Due to its toxicity, Sorafenib is not advisable to be used during breastfeeding.
There are no studies on the effect of Sorafenib on the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Sorafenib is safe to be used in patients with kidney impairment.
No dose adjustment needed for patients with mild to moderate liver impairment. However, the safety profile is not established in patients with severe liver impairment. Thus, caution use has to be practised in this group of patient.
