Recommended for infants and children, for protection against 13 types of Pneumococcal bacteria.

Pneumococcal bacteria can cause several types of severe infections such as Pneumonia (infection of the lungs), Meningitis, Ear infection, Sinusitis or Bacterial Sepsis (blood infection). Young children have weak immunity, and are especially at risk of contracting pneumococcal infection.

The vaccine works by triggering the immune system of the body to produce antibodies that help fight pneumococcal infection and protects against 13 different varieties of pneumococcal bacteria, which are the most common cause of severe pneumococcal illnesses in both children and adults.

13 Valent Pneumococcal Vaccine (Four Doses)

1st Dose - 2 months of age 

2nd Dose - 4 months of age 

3rd Dose - 6 months of age

4th Dose - 12 - 15 months of age
