Hold the inhaler upright. Shake and prime the inhaler by spraying a few doses into the air. Breathe out gently away from the inhaler, place mouthpiece between teeth without biting and form a good seal with your lips. Breathe in slowly and at the same time, press down firmly on canister to release a dose. Hold your breath for 5-10 seconds or as long as comfortable. While holding breath, remove inhaler from mouth. Breathe out gently away from the inhaler. If you need to repeat your dose, repeat the above steps. Replace cover once complete.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
It could be safe to consume alcohol with Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s, but it is recommended to limit the amount as the interactions are still unknown.You should not consume alcohol with Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s. Taking Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s with alcohol may have additive effects such as headache, low blood pressure, dizziness or palpitation.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Animal studies have demonstrated that it can cause developmental abnormalities to the fetus and there are inadequate human studies, however, the potential benefits may allow the usage of Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s in pregnant women despite the risks. It is also recommended to only use minimum quantity for a minimum duration of the treatment.Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse reactions on the fetus at a very high dose, however, there are limited human studies. Hence, it is recommended to avoid usage during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
It is unknown whether Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s or its metabolites is excreted in human breast milk. Animal studies reported that there was evidence of Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s in the rat's milk following subcutaneous administration. It is recommended to avoid using Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s during breastfeeding unless the benefits to the mother outweigh the benefits of breastfeeding to the child.Animal studies have shown excretion of Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s in milk so risk to breastfed newborns cannot be excluded. Its usage is justified when benefits outweigh the risks.

In patients with renal impairment, the metabolism and elimination of this drug might be delayed in systemic absorption and thus, increases the risk of systemic toxicity. Therefore, to achieve clinical benefit, only the minimum quantity should be used for the shortest duration of treatment.Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s can be used in patients with severe kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s may be needed. However, if there is an overdosing of Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s, it may lead to metabolic acidosis. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
In patients with liver impairment, the metabolism and elimination of Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s might be delayed in systemic absorption and thus, increases the risk of systemic toxicity. Therefore, to achieve clinical benefit, only the minimum quantity should be used for the shortest duration of treatment. Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Seretide 25/50mcg Evohaler 120s may be needed. Hepatic function needs to be monitored. The medication must be shaken before use. Have a tissue ready before taking medication.
Put the bottle tip into one nostril and shut the other nose.
Direct the spray away from cartilage that divides the nostrils.
Do the same breathing exercise for the opposite nostril. Deep breathing may reduce the effectiveness of medicine, and you should avoid it.
