A TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) device, such as the Beurer Tens Machine (EM29), is used to relieve discomfort and pain in various body areas. 

The EM29 Tens Machine includes four adhesive electrodes that can be applied to the skin near the discomfort. In order to activate the nerves and lessen the feeling of pain, the machine then administers brief electrical impulses through the electrodes. It has 15 pre-set programmes for various body areas and pains, as well as intensity levels that may be changed to fit the needs of the user.

How To Use Beurer Tens Machine (EM29) 1s

  1. Fill the battery container with two AAA batteries.
  2. Use soap and water to thoroughly clean the area where the electrodes will be placed.
  3. Attach the electrodes to the device by plugging the jack plugs into the electrode connectors.
  4. Remove the protective backing from the electrodes adhesive side and stick them to the skin where the pain is coming from.
  5. Press the power button to turn the device on.
  6. Using the machine's buttons, select the desired programme and intensity level. Start with a low intensity level and raise it progressively until you experience a stimulating level that is comfortable for you.
  7. Take a seat back and let the machine run for the prescribed amount of time, which is normally 20 to 30 minutes per session.
  8. After the session, switch off the device and take the electrodes out of the skin.
