Alcohol Warning(Not Advisable)
Increase risk of gastrointestinal toxicity was reported on the usage of Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip) with alcohol. Drinking too much alcohol may also increase the level of uric acid in the blood. Thus, minimizing the effects of Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip) when it is used for prevention of gout attacks.
Pregnancy Warning(Not Safe)
Animal studies have demonstrated that there is a risk to the fetus, though there are limited human studies. It is best to avoid using Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip) during pregnancy but potential benefits may allow usage of Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip). Woman of childbearing age is advised to use contraception during treatment.
Breastfeeding Warning(Limited Data)
There is limited data on the safety profile of Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip) during breastfeeding but it has been shown that Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip) is excreted in breast milk. Thus, it is recommended to discontinue breastfeeding while on Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip).
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip) usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning(Use With Care)
Caution must be practiced while administering Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip) to patients with mild renal impairment. For moderate renal impairment, dose reduction is required. Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip) should not be given to patients with severe renal impairment requiring hemodialysis since it cannot be removed by exchange transfusion or dialysis.
Liver Warning(Limited Data)
Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip) must be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate liver impairment. It is also important to monitor such patients for side effects of Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip). For patients with liver impairment who are taking a P-glycoprotein (P-gp) inhibitor or a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor, Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip) is contraindicated.
Recommended dosage: Adult: Take 1 to 2 tablets every two to three hours or as directed by your doctor. Not recommended for children.

Introduction of Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet 10s (strip)
Colchimil 0.6mg Tablet is a food supplement that may be taken with or without meals. To receive the most advantage from it, you should take it on a daily basis at the same time. Even if you feel better, continue to take it as directed by your doctor and finish the whole dosage. Your symptoms may worsen if you cease.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
