Precautionary Steps of Actimin Tablet 10s (strip)
Please consult a doctor especially before taking Actimin. If you have any of the following conditions & contraindications:-
Allergy to Actimin or any of its components
It is not recommended for children & Neonates. Please keep it out of reach from them
Severe hepatic impairment
Moderate to severe renal impairment
Diabetes Mellitus
Hyperthyroidism
increased intraocular pressure
prostatic hypertrophy, hypertension
heart disease
May affect ability to drive or operate machinery
Pregnancy and lactation

Actimin Drug Interactions

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
No known side effects when used along with alcohol consumption.It is proven that Actimin Tablet 10s (strip) with alcohol intake will increase the side effect such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion and difficulty in concentrating. Thus, it is not advisable for you to take alcohol when prescribed with Actimin Tablet 10s (strip).
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Actimin Tablet 10s (strip) may be unsafe to be used during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse reactions on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may outweigh the risk. Please consult your doctor before consuming it.Actimin Tablet 10s (strip) is currently not assigned to any US FDA pregnancy category.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
Actimin Tablet 10s (strip) can pass into breast milk. Hence, caution should be exercised when prescribing Actimin Tablet 10s (strip) to breastfeeding mothers.Actimin Tablet 10s (strip) are excreted in breast milk in small amount. However, there is no evidence on the effect of Actimin Tablet 10s (strip) on breast-fed infant. Actimin Tablet 10s (strip) is probably safe to use during lactation as most of the antihistamines are compatible to be used during breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor for more details.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Actimin Tablet 10s (strip) usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Actimin Tablet 10s (strip) may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea, or sedation, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (High Risk)
The use of Actimin Tablet 10s (strip) is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Actimin Tablet 10s (strip) rarely leads to any hepatic impairment unless in the elderly patients.
