There are mixed and inadequate data to conclude the safety profile of Chlorpheniramine in pregnant women. It may be safe to use in the first and second trimester but may increase the risk of premature neonates if used in the third trimester.
Breastfeeding Warning(Safe If Prescribed)
Duopharma Chloramine 4mg Tablet 10s (strip) is present in small quantity in human breastmilk and can cause drowsiness on the infant. Close monitoring is required if using Duopharma Chloramine 4mg Tablet 10s (strip) during breastfeeding or using second generation of anti-histamine.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
It is not advisable to drive when taking Duopharma Chloramine 4mg Tablet 10s (strip) due to its potential side effects such as drowsiness and dizziness which can affect the ability to drive and concentrate.
Kidney Warning(Safe If Prescribed)
No dosage adjustment is needed for people with renal impairment despite it being excreted via urine.
Liver Warning(Safe If Prescribed)
Although no dosage adjustment is indicated by the manufacturer labelling, precautionary measure with dosage adjustment may be needed in moderate to severe hepatic impaired patient due to Duopharma Chloramine 4mg Tablet 10s (strip) being metabolised by the liver.

It is recommended that you take Duopharma Chloramine 4mg Tablet with or without meals, but that you take it at the same time every day in order to receive the maximum benefit. It should be regarded as medical advise from your doctor. The dosage and frequency with which you take it are determined by the condition for which you are taking it. Your doctor will determine how much treatment you will need to alleviate your symptoms. You should continue to take this medication for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you. If you have forgotten to take a dosage, it is best to take the following dose as soon as you remember to do so. However, you should never take two doses at the same time.
How To Use Duopharma Chloramine 4mg Tablet 10s (strip)
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
