Alcohol Warning(Safe)
It is safe to consume alcohol while on Niquitin 7mg Patch 7s. However, the combination of both may cause an increase in dopamine release which is responsible to cause euphoria.
Pregnancy Warning(Not Safe)
It is recommended that pregnant women should stop smoking without requiring Niquitin 7mg Patch 7s replacement therapy. Human studies have reported that there is a risk to the fetus, but potential benefits may allow the usage of Niquitin 7mg Patch 7s in pregnancy. This is because the fetus's risk could be lower than the risk caused by cigarette smoking as there is lower maximal plasma Niquitin 7mg Patch 7s concentration. In the third trimester, Niquitin 7mg Patch 7s can cause changes in fetal heart rate and this could affect the fetus close to delivery.
Breastfeeding Warning(Limited Data)
Niquitin 7mg Patch 7s can be found in the breast milk of mothers on treatment therefore, it should be avoided during breastfeeding. There is limited data on the usage of Niquitin 7mg Patch 7s while breastfeeding. If Niquitin 7mg Patch 7s replacement therapy is essential, it should be taken just after breastfeeding and not two hours before breastfeeding.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Niquitin 7mg Patch 7s usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning(Use With Care)
Niquitin 7mg Patch 7s should be used with caution in patients with severe renal impairment as the clearance of Niquitin 7mg Patch 7s or its metabolites may be decreased and therefore, there is an increased risk of side effects.
Liver Warning(Limited Data)
Niquitin 7mg Patch 7s should be used with caution in patients with moderate to severe liver impairment as the clearance of Niquitin 7mg Patch 7s or its metabolites may be decreased. As a result, there is an increased risk of side effects.
Recommended dosage: Adult: Apply one patch daily preferably on waking (2 weeks) Not recommended for children.

Make note of the day, date and time you apply the patch to remind you when you need to replace it. Remove the protective liner of the patch without touching its sticky sides. Apply patch onto clean, dry, flat, undamaged and hairless skin. Smoothen patch evenly onto skin and wash your hands after applying it. When it is time to remove the patch, gently peel it away from your skin and fold the patch in half with its sticky sides facing inwards. Do not apply patch on the same area twice in a row as this can irritate your skin.
