Introduction of HOE Oxy-Nase 0.025% Nasal Spray 15ml
Oxynase Paediatric 0.025% Nasal Spray should be used according to your doctor's instructions. Normally, you should gently blow your nose before using it, shut one nostril while applying the medication to the other, and then sniff deeply to ensure the medicine goes deep into the nose. Then do the same thing with the other nostril. It gives immediate relief and might persist for many hours. It only gives brief comfort, so don't use it more often or for longer than the manufacturer recommends. If you take this drug too frequently or for too long, it may aggravate rather than relieve your symptoms.
Blow your nose gently or clean it out with a saline rinse. Tilt your head backwards as far as possible. Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to the nose to prevent contamination. Place the correct number of drops into each nostril and keep your head tilted for a short time to allow the medication to spread throughout the nose. Tilt the head forward to the knees, moving it left to right for several minutes. Clean and dry the dropper before placing it back into the bottle. Wash your hands after use to remove any medication.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Dry mouth and throat, Burning or stinging sensation, Sneezing, Rebound rhinitis, Dry nose, Rebound nasal congestion, Local irritation, Rhinitis medicamentosa

Quick Tips
Oxynase Paediatric 0.025% Nasal Spray starts working immediately and each dosage lasts up to 12 hours. The correct method to utilise nasal spray is to shake the bottle before using it.
Before administering Oxynase Paediatric 0.025% Nasal Spray, make sure your nose is completely clean.
Close one nostril and insert the bottle tip into the other.
Spray the sides of your nostrils, away from the cartilage that separates the two sides of your nose. Exhale slowly from your mouth, then repeat for the other nostril.
Deep breathing will cause medicine to return to the throat, reducing its effectiveness.
Do not use Oxynase Paediatric 0.025% Nasal Spray for more than 3 or 4 days in a row as it may aggravate nasal congestion (called rebound congestion).
For hygiene purposes, do not share the bottle with anybody else.
