Pharmaniaga Diphenhydramine Expectorant should be taken before a meal or before night, but take it at the same time every day to receive the greatest benefit. It should be regarded as your doctor's recommendation. The dosage and how frequently you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will determine how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medication for as long as it is recommended for you. In case, you have missed any doses then it is preferable to take the following dosage as soon as you recall it. However, you should never take a double dosage. Dizziness or sleepiness is the most frequent adverse effect of this medication. Avoid driving or attention-seeking activities. If they annoy you or seem severe, let your doctor know. There may be methods of minimising or avoiding them. In rare instances, it may cause dryness of mouth, therefore it is recommended to drink extra water, constantly carry sugar sweets or maintain dental hygiene. Before using this medication, let your doctor know if you have glaucoma or have other gastro associated problems or have asthma. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, or breastfeeding. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Generally, it is advised to avoid alcohol while on treatment.

This medicine is for oral use only. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure it with the measuring spoon given and take it by mouth.
