This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

While some these symptoms are more common, there are a few rare symptoms that could also occur. These symptoms become more prominent as when one is undergoing a long term therapy with this medication.
Precautionary Steps of Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s
Please consult a doctor especially before taking Triplixam. If you have any of the following conditions & contraindications:-
Allergy to Triplixam or any of its components
Hypersensitivity to perindopril, indapamide, amlodipine, other sulphonamides, dihydropyridine derivatives, any other ACE inhibitor
untreated decompensated heart failure
dialysis patients
severe or moderate renal impairment
history of angioedema (Quincke's oedema) associated w/ previous ACE inhibitor therapy
hereditary/idiopathic angioedema
hepatic encephalopathy
severe hepatic impairment
Hypokalaemia
severe hypotension
shock, including cardiogenic shock
left ventricle outflow tract obstruction (eg, high grade aortic stenosis)
haemodynamically unstable heart failure after acute MI
Concomitant use with aliskiren in patients with DM or renal impairment
2nd & 3rd trimester pregnancy
Lactation
Elderly
Please stop using this medication if you are experiencing these symptoms and conditions.

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s. Taking Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s with alcohol may worsen the side effects of Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s such as headache, dizziness and visual disturbance. Furthermore, Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s is metabolised in the liver and alcohol consumption leads to a risk of liver damage.It is not advisable to consume alcohol with Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s. Taking Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s with alcohol may enhance the orthostatic effect of Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s.It is not advisable to consume alcohol with Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s. Taking Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s with alcohol may lower blood pressure and may increase certain side effects of the medication.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits of using Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s among pregnant women outweigh the risks. Please consult your doctor. Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s may be safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have failed to show adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited well-controlled human studies. Please consult your doctor.Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s is unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown evidence of fetotoxicity and it may increase fetal and neonatal morbidity and death. However, there are no controlled data in human pregnancy and this will make it more dangerous to use. Adequate method of contraception should be made when patient is on this medication.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s is reported to be excreted into breast milk. However, the effect of the exposure towards the babies remains unknown. There is also stated that no side effects were reported with the exposure. Please consult your doctor for further details. Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s must be used with caution during lactation as it is excreted in human milk. Limited human data suggests that Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s does not represent a significant risk to the baby. Please consult your doctor.Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s is not recommended to be taken when the mother is still breastfeeding the baby. Although the excretion into human milk is unknown, but it is excreted into animal milk. The effects towards the baby is unknown.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s may cause side effects such as dizziness headache, tiredness or nausea, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Kidney Warning (High Risk)
Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s is mostly excreted via urine. Thus, dose adjustment of Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s must be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s may be needed. It is contraindicated in patients with anuria. Please consult your doctor.Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s should be used with a proper prescription by a specialist in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s may be needed. Please consult your doctor regarding the benefits of using it.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
The liver disease should use Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s with caution. It is extensively metabolised in the liver. Extensive use of Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s also increases the liver enzyme. Dose adjustment of Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment. Dose adjustment of Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s may be needed in patients with other liver diseases. Please consult your doctor.Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s may worsen liver disease. It should be used with extreme caution in patients with liver disease and the dose adjustment of Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s may be needed. As Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s is metabolized in the liver, people with liver failure may have longer time to excrete it from the body and this makes the levels of Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet 30s to be higher in the body and causes more side effects.

Triplixam 10/2.5/10mg Tablet may cause a rapid decrease in your condition, particularly when you start using this medication. To decrease the risk of feeling dizzy or passing out, if you have been sitting or laying down, rise carefully.
