Unitrac 100mg Tablet should be taken according to your doctor's instructions for dosage and duration. It may be taken with or without meals and should be swallowed whole. Take this medication at regular intervals to receive the greatest effect, and keep taking it until your prescription is completed, even if your symptoms go away after a few days. If you stop therapy too soon, the infection may come back, and if you skip doses, you risk developing infections that are resistant to treatment. If the infection does not improve or worsens, contact your doctor.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
There is no known interaction of Unitrac 100mg Tablet 30s with alcohol.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Unitrac 100mg Tablet 30s may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal reproduction studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited well-controlled human studies. The benefits from the use of Unitrac 100mg Tablet 30s in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Unitrac 100mg Tablet 30s should be avoided during lactation. Some amount of Unitrac 100mg Tablet 30s is excreted in human breast milk. Please consult your doctor.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
There are no studies of Unitrac 100mg Tablet 30s on the effect of ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Unitrac 100mg Tablet 30s should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Administration of intravenous Unitrac 100mg Tablet 30s is contraindicated in patients with severe kidney impairment. Dose adjustment of Unitrac 100mg Tablet 30s may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Unitrac 100mg Tablet 30s should be used with caution in patients with severe liver impairment as Unitrac 100mg Tablet 30s is metabolized in the liver. Dose adjustment of Unitrac 100mg Tablet 30s may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
