Do not take this medication if you are bleeding or if you are taking other medication to prevent blood clotting. You should not breastfeed when taking this medicine.
Take this medicine at the dosage and frequency prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it down as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it down.
The most common side effect of Eliquis 2.5mg Tablet is bleeding more easily than normal, such as nasal bleeding or bruising. Tell your doctor immediately if you have any symptoms. Other side effects include low blood pressure, nausea and rash.
