How Budesonide Inhaler Works

Budesonide is a corticosteroid. It works by impeding or controlling inflammation through regulation of the rate of protein synthesis and prohibition of the migration of polymorphonuclear leukocytes and fibroblasts. It also reduces capillary permeability and stabilizes lysozyme.

Inhaled Budesonide is is not advise to be used with Alcohol as it may cause dizziness.

Pregnancy Not Safe

Animal studies have shown that Inhaled Budesonide is harmful at high exposures. However, there is no data on the usage of Inhaled Budesonide in pregnancy and its adverse effects or risks to the fetus. It should only be used if the benefits outweigh the risk.
