Lysine is commonly used in the treatment of nutritional deficiencies and herpes simplex virus infection.

How Lysine Works

Lysine is an enteral nutritional product. It is an essential amino acid vital for normal growth and development. It is responsible for carnitine production and in converting fatty acids into energy. It also slows replication of infected cells by reducing the availability of arginine.
