Alcohol Not Advisable

Alcohol will increase the risk of gut bleeding when consumed concomitantly with Naproxen Sodium especially the patient has a history of stomach ulcer. Thus, it is not advisable to consume alcohol during the treatment of Naproxen Sodium.

Pregnancy Limited Data

Animal studies and human studies have shown reproductive toxicities when Naproxen Sodium is used during pregnancy. Thus, it is contraindicated in pregnant women. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation Not Advisable

Excretion of Naproxen Sodium has been found in human breast milk. Thus, it is not advisable to be used during breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor.

Driving Generally Safe

Naproxen Sodium usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Kidney High Risk

Dose adjustment is needed in patients with kidney impairment. It is contraindicated in severe kidney impairment of baseline creatinine clearance less than 30ml/min. Please consult your doctor.
