Hytrin 2mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called alpha blockers. Hytrin 2mg Tablet can be taken on its own or in combination with other medicines. It can be taken with or without food. The dosage will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine . Seek your doctor's advice on what's better for you. You need to take this medicine on a daily basis to make the most of it, so keep taking it even though you feel well. You would need to take it for the rest of your life.
If you are pregnant, worried about being pregnant or breast-feeding, ask your doctor before taking this drug. Also speak to the doctor before taking it if you have issues with heart,liver,kidney and if you have undergo any eye surgery. Your blood pressure will need to be monitored regularly when you are taking this medicine.
Many side effects do not need medical attention and resolve as the body responds to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you are concerned about them
The most common side effects of this drug include dizziness, drowsiness, headache, nausea, and unusual heartbeat (palpitations). Much of the side effects resolve as you get used to the medicine. Speak to your doctor if they bother you or won't go away. To lower the risk of dizziness, rise slowly if you've been sitting or lying down. It can also cause the blood pressure to be too low. Some side effects can be severe and require immediate medical attention. Your doctor may be able to assist with the prevention or reducing of side effects.
If you miss a dose of Hytrin 2 Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
