Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab. 5. Insert the needle into the injection site with the bevel facing upward. 6. Secure the needle in place with the adhesive. 7. Connect the tubing to the port on the infusion set. 8. Inspect the connection to ensure that it is secure. 9. Start the infusion and monitor the flow rate.
