Warning Precautions
Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) as it may cause side effects such as dizziness, orthostatic hypotension, palpitations and fatigue.It is not advised to consume alcohol with Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip). Taking Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) with alcohol may worsen the side effects such as nausea, vomiting, hallucinations and palpitations.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be unsafe to take during pregnancy as the animal studies have shown repeated toxicity on the fetus. However, there is insufficient data on the adverse effect of fetus based on human studies. The use may be permissible when its risks outweigh the benefits. Please consult your doctor.Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable even with the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) is probably safe to use during lactation. It is present in human milk and proven to reduce prolactin production. Hence, it is not recommended to be used in lactating women. Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) is excreted in breast milk. Limited human data suggests that Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) does not cause significant risk to the baby but may affect the production of breastmilk
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
It is common to experience dizziness, fatigue, and sleepiness when taking Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip). Therefore, it is not advisable to drive as it may affect your ability to concentrate and drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) may cause side effects such as nausea or hallucinations, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose titration may be needed. Therefore, please consult your doctor.Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. It may increase the serum creatinine phosphokinase levels and leads to acute renal failure. Dose adjustment of Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) should not be used in patients with severe liver disease. Dose titration is required in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with liver disease because it may increase your liver enzyme levels. Dose adjustment of Levomed 250/25mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
