Make note of the day, date and time you apply the patch to remind you when you need to replace it. Remove the protective liner of the patch without touching its sticky sides. Apply patch onto clean, dry, flat, undamaged and hairless skin. Smoothen patch evenly onto skin and wash your hands after applying it. When it is time to remove the patch, gently peel it away from your skin and fold the patch in half with its sticky sides facing inwards. Do not apply patch on the same area twice in a row as this can irritate your skin.

Alcohol may accentuate the hypotensive effects caused by Glyceryl Trinitrate/Nitroderm TTS 5 (5mg/24h) Patch 30s. Thus, it is not advisable to consume alcohol during the treatment with Glyceryl Trinitrate/Nitroderm TTS 5 (5mg/24h) Patch 30s.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Animal studies do not show reproductive toxicities but there are limited data on the use of Glyceryl Trinitrate/Nitroderm TTS 5 (5mg/24h) Patch 30s in pregnant women. Thus, it is only advisable to be used when benefits to the mother are greater than the risk imposed on the fetus. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Excretion of Glyceryl Trinitrate/Nitroderm TTS 5 (5mg/24h) Patch 30s is unknown in human breast milk and risk to breastfed infants cannot be excluded. Thus, it is only advisable to be used when benefits to the mother are greater than the risk imposed on the fetus. Please consult your doctor.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Glyceryl Trinitrate/Nitroderm TTS 5 (5mg/24h) Patch 30s may cause side effects such as dizziness which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Dose adjustment is needed in patients with severe kidney impairment. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Dose adjustment is needed in patients with severe liver impairment. Please consult your doctor.
Quick Tips
May cause dizziness. Use Nitroderm Tts 5 5mg/24h Patch with caution when driving or doing activities that require attention until you know how it affects you.
Do not drink alcohol while on Nitroderm Tts 5 5mg/24h Patch as it may further affect your condition and cause dizziness.
Nitroderm Tts 5 5mg/24h Patch may induce headaches, although these typically subside after a few days of therapy. If the problem continues, contact your doctor.
After a few days of ongoing therapy, it might trigger headaches that normally goes off. If it doesnt, notify your doctor.
